Tenampa Mexican Restaurant in Darlington

This place was amazing. First time going and this place did not disappoint. Service was great but I will admit it wasn't busy, so how they are busy I dont know. Food was awesome, everything came out at the same time, and it was hot! I dont like when you go somewhere and everything comes out together but you know one of the dishes has been sitting, looks a little dry. Anyways, I would definitely recommend this place if your cravings mexican.

My first time here! The food was delicious, and service was AMAZING. I came during a lunch rush and still received my selection quickly and without an extended wait.

Been coming here 5 years. Past couple times very dissatisfied. Waitresses not cordial. Tonight May 29, couldn't seem to be very helpful. Our ticket was given to us. Getting ready to get up to pay, she gives us a new ticket with a higher price. Showed the owners son at check out, he says sometimes they forget and that's why. Not acceptable. Always had been very pleasant.In your response to my review, not sure the waitresses name. She was causicusan, short,a little stocky. Had to stop her to ask when we neededsomething. As far as the bill, she brought a new higher one, not our fault her not keeping up with that. Then the owner son, telling us that happens. Not really apologizing for the error. Other restaurants we can go to.

I love the authenticity of this restaurant. The food and service is always excellent! Highly recommend Tenampas for a great meal, and all around great atmosphere!!

Food was horrible. It wasn’t authentic at all!! I paid $6.55 for 2 tacos!!! The salsa was very salty. They don’t even have tamales Very disappointed for my first time there! I’ll drive to Florence next time! Will NOT return here....

This place is a hidden gem! Darlingtonians need to spread the word about this restaurant. The food is very fresh and tasty. Service is quick and the staff is friendly. A great place for a quick lunch.

Who would have ever guessed that a really good Mexican restaurant lived in a little South Carolina town? I personally recommend the Carnitas.

I always enjoy coming here, whether by myself after work, or with my friends for a girl's night out. The service is always good and fast, and the food is excellent. They have really good guacamole...and the prices are very reasonable. Also good margaritas and specials.

Beans are paste like and the food is not as good as many places. Needs deep cleaning.

Loved it. Best Mexican food in Darlington. They are so nice to their customers to the point where they become more than just another customer. They become good friends. Trust me I've been in there to see how they treat all their customers and how close they are with them.

Excellent!!! We drive from Florence to eat there on a regular basis. Their guacamole is the best around! Try the steak burrito Louise.
